Bag Ban... kind of

From 1st July the supply of lightweight plastic bags will be banned in Western Australia. There has been plenty of warning leading up to this but it seems that Woolies feels people need a bit more help so are still giving reusable bags to people for free until the 10th rather than charging 15c for them.

I feel that a scorched earth approach is the way to do it to be honest. A fluffy transitional period doesn’t really achieve much!

We have always had our reusable bags and granny wheelie trolly!
