A Sparkling Day....

We woke this morning to a heavy frost. As usually happens a fine cloudless day followed the frost. Keith, Maisie and I drove to Havelock where we met son Duncan for lunch at a cafe. We then visited Duncan’s bush block high on hills above picturesque Queen Charlotte Drive. Maisie loved racing around exploring the tracks through the bush. The sun was sparkling on the distant waters of the sounds...a perfect winter day.
