Kaka in Zealandia

The birdsong at Zealandia is surprisingly prolific - and a bonus was getting some photos of some. The kaka and the kakariki are not seen when we walk in Fiordland so it was really special to see them today.

I wonder if we'll ever see and hear them down south in the bush again. There is so much awesome work going on to rid the bush of predators but there is soooo much bush.
