Flower Friday: It’s that time of the year

It’s not all about the World Cup (although as long as we’re still in - maybe it is).

The tennis season is hotting up here, with Wimbledon starting next week. They’re going to be feeling the heat (looks like a long hot summer).

This wonderfully manicured hedge leads to the entrance of the tennis club, where local stars such as ‘mine’ - and ‘Cassfoto’s - burn of excess energy.

I’m sure I blipped this last year (when I was a newbie). Must check later - found*. The club gardeners really deserve a medal.
