The sun goes down.....

Another scorcher of a day. The shearing contractor in next door doing the last 300 + X ewes and the 40 odd tups. All that are left to do now are the hill blackies.
Turned the field of hay again , then set up the new grass topper and headed off down the road to do some bits of fields where the cattle are.
We are hoping to go to silage over the weekend, but it requires a convoy of 6-7 trailers to cart in from 5 miles away. It looks like it could be a nightmare as there are 2 sets of roadworks and traffic lights and talk of the council closing a road to tar it. Tempers may be worse than usual !
At least the sun setting over the spring barley looks tranquil !
