summer nights

Such wonderful weather. We have the doors and windows open all night, breathing the scents of night-stock that drift about the garden. 
But there are worryingly few insects, no moths fluttering about the lights, not even midges.. It seems odd to have the windows open and the lights on and not have the house fill up with bugs. Where have they all gone ..?
