Splash of Colour

Oyster catchers and turnstones at Belhaven this morning. The tide was high so the birds were flocked close to shore and in the clear light they made a wonderful spectacle.

I was kicking myself for the wide aperture used here - I meant to go for depth of field on aperture priority - but in fact the shallow focus works quite well I think.
