Beautiful but way too early to be awake! C took a while to settle at bed time as it was too hot, eventually falling asleep on my bed under a thin quilt. By 3 this morning she'd nicked both the duvet and blanket from me too. I may have been the only person in England too cold to sleep!

A work day but J was off sick, rapidly working his way through boxes of kleenex, so I cut my day short. I lasted about 10 minutes in the garden when I got home before retreating to the shade, and body combat wasn't appealing this eve so after dropping C off at athletics headed up to Addingham for a swim. Goggles on, head down proper swimming too!
