The Corner

Since our neighborhood is The Farm at Brunswick, we have some corny street names.  This is the corner of Corn Planters Circle and Planters Row Lane which is 1 house from our lot.  I try this shot periodically and always feel it is a hard shot since the light seems rather bright and tends to dominate the photo.  Any idea how to get a cleaner shot or is this how it is?  I've tried several different settings.
