bullrushes

In a place in the creek where I haven't seen them before. I lose things in the garden and sometimes they pop up somewhere else and it seems the same sort of thing happens naturally! 
Nice to see the rushes. They should grow a lot taller than this.

We should have had the carpet cleaned today but the cleaners truck broke down and so he is coming tomorrow. I think it may be three years since it was done. Alison is coming to help me move furniture before he gets here.

Stormy night in ElDorado and Eureka last night. Eureka and Potwin both had tornadoes. No casualties so far as I know but lots of damage and power outages. We didn't get a drop!
