Where is winter hill?

I had an emergency dentist appt today as I've got toothache in the tooth he did root canal work on. I've got antibiotics and he's decided it's got to come out. Next Wednesday at 8am!!!
Last night when I got home there was a smell of burning and it's been there all day. When I park my car for reading I always look up at Rivington pike and winter hill. Today there was no sight of them. The wind is blowing smoke from the saddleworth fire over our way. This weather is lovely but I wish it would rain in the night it really would help put out the fires and I'm out watering my garden every evening.
