This glorious summer

I was at the dentist this morning for yet more adjustments to the crown of the implant. Hopefully it will be comfortable now.

Mum had an optician's appointment this afternoon and now has a prescription sorted out for reading glasses. The optician heard about her distance glasses being perfect while he was on holiday in Spain. He was delighted.

It is too hot for me.

I walked to and from the surgery to pick up prescriptions and photographed our rampant honeysuckle on the way home. I love the way the pollen on the stamens is catching the sun.

Our grass is finally succumbing to the lack of rain.
