Lurker In the Undergrowth

The final acting class, and what fun it’s been, as I testified on the wearyingly obligatory course evaluation. Nearly everyone else is already signing for next term. I may be busy. Actually, it’s been a lot of fun.
Later, who came a-calling but the bold cigs, with a delightfully clinking backpack. In return we got the soft fruit out.
And later still, our first movie at the EIFF - Dirt Road to Lafayette. Scripted by no less a person than Jim Kelman. I’ll be kind - the young lad was a great musician and there were some pleasing archetypal shots of the American South. Apart from that, it was parallel universe scale sentimental baloney. When he went off laughing with his new Mexican friends I was already imagining an alternative ending where they drugged, killed and ate him. And his bloody accordion.
