Wide Wednesday: Wood, cakes and coffee

Fellow blipper Honeycombe Beach reminisced about visits here. And we subsequently had a friendly blip exchange about Westbourne* cafés (*small, smart local residential area walking distance from Bournemouth centre, with nice shopping street).

Of course some things have changed, and in a short time. Today in Westbourne I passed the places we discussed. Plenty of brightly coloured wood, framing the shop windows. Including Chocol8’s PINK which Honeybourne Beach still remembered well. So this is especially for her.

So wood, coffee and cakes for today’s blip. And no doubt we’ll be over to Westbourne later for my currently daily hot weather iced coffee (while flat whites are - on ice - in this weather).

NB The Vintage Lounge is in Westbourne’s quirky Victorian arcade which is littered with small gift shops, eateries etc. Underneath the Lounge is the Colosseum, UK’s smallest cinema with 17 seats.
