There and back again

Market Day

Thursday in this little Devon town is Market Day. Several years ago we also had a cattle and sheep market but the last bout of foot and mouth finished that off.

Today's marked takes place in the little square around the church with some stalls on the church green, rather like an old medieval market. The stalls sell all sort of things from fresh fish, pies, hot curry, fruit, clothes, cards and occasionally a stall from France selling cheese and cooked meats and many other things.

A newcomer today was this young juggler adding color and fun to the day.
