Praia da Marinha

Spent the morning at this wonderful beach. Had a great swim here. It is reputedly (according to the Michelin guide) one of the ten most beautiful beaches in Europe and it definitely lives up to this accolade!
In the afternoon we visited historic Silves and charming Alte, both inland and both worth a visit.
