Day 13: Nigeria v Argentina

I had a lovely day out at Cramond with friends today, and having been out all day, I decided to make something relatively simple this evening. So in honour of Nigeria, who have given many people a lot of pleasure this World Cup, I give you Nigerian Puff Puffs.
Admittedly they look like doughnuts and taste like doughnuts, albeit with some nutmeg added, but they do resemble the photo in the recipe, despite the mixture not rising as much as I expected. I am not great with yeasty mixtures!
