Ever wondered. . .

Ever wondered what the inside of a plane looks like stripped of its seats? You probably haven't. I know the thought didn't even go through my head until I was told they strip out the seats to check the planes every so often.

Rangers tonight was at the Air New Zealand No. 1 hanger in Christchurch, we had a tour round from Viv who works there and it great. Thanks Viv! He showed us round the whole place, how it works and how they check and repair planes. We were allowed to go into this plane - I think it was an Air New Zealand A320, and it was in the middle of a "C" check. They had stripped out the seats and suprisingly [ you can't really tell from the photo] it seemed much smaller than a plane this size normally would with seats. I completely expected it to look much larger.

Overall I had a great day and rangers tonight just made it even better we even got Hot chocolates from the coffee machine they had there.
