Cleaning the pond

The pond has not had any attention for a long time but it still contains frogs and newts. After finishing reading some training materials in the morning, I decided to clean it out a bit and remove a lot of the mud and sediment that have accumulated over the years.  This frog found its way into the wheelbarrow but was soon restored to its proper habitat. After a walk by the river in the afternoon, I called in and bought a few marginal plants.
