A quiet corner

Several years ago I created a private corner surrounded by shrubs in our garden after the rotten garden shed was taken away.  It is very sheltered  and a sun trap, yet we are in close touch with people who may be walking to the house or driving down the lane over the hedge - I think there is a vehicle coming down the hill through the philadelphus blossom. We often drink coffee and read the papers there in the morning.  Others may think we are mad as we have such a panoramic view from the house why not drink that all in but we live with it and probably take it for granted although it is different everyday with the light and the cloud and different crops growing in the fields.
