North Carolina ....

... final full day.

After all the excitement of yesterday Mom and I had a very quiet day at Dave's.  My SIL had the day off so we went down the pool in the morning and then later in the day we went to my oldest nieces house for the evening.  After returning from the pool I started my packing as I will be returning home tomorrow.  I also sat out on the patio for a while where I took this picture of an Eastern Phoebe enjoying it's lunch. 

A couple of years ago my brother moved from upstate New York to North Carolina to be near his oldest daughters.  They had both moved to NC years ago and when R had a baby (my brother's first grandson!) he made the move to be closer to all of them.  And then last October his oldest daughter N had a baby boy, too! Tonight was the first time I was meeting N's baby boy!  He is adorable!

We had a wonderful evening enjoying good food and each other's company!
