Stormy DC

I woke up in Washington DC this morning. It was ‘slightly’ cooler than it had been when I was here just 3 days ago. I think it ONLY got to about 29C!

Thankfully I only had a couple of quick errands and didn’t stray far from the hotel. It wasn’t SUPPOSED to rain but I wasn’t going to take any chances with clouds like that so I had an umbrella with me. And rain it did! A few sprinkles for about 2 minutes.

Thankfully we got out of DC this evening on time. A 6 o’clock departure is always a bit risky as it’s often the time that thunderstorms come rolling in. If they did happen, it was after we left. We LIKE on-time departures! (Not like 3 days ago!)
