*First snowfall *

As promised we are in the midst of another storm. Our first snowfall of the season. Keeping my fingers crossed the power will holdup since our water restriction is now lifted, yay!

The snow was coming down hard when I took this picture but it hadn't covered the roads yet. In the time since I took this we have gotten about 3 inches on the ground, the roads are covered and the wind has picked up. It looks like a winter wonderland outside right now.

Of course from inside my house it's beautiful looking outside. There is a definite serenity to falling snow. A kind of purity. I think maybe it's a good sign. Like a clean slate. Maybe after this we can all move forward in an optimistic way to heal, rebuild and start living our lives with a new appreciation for all we do have.
