Day 176/18. The MSC Magnifica leaves Southampton

The MSC Magnifica leaves Southampton during this evenings golden sunset on another cruise.
Constructed by STX Europe in Saint-Nazaire, the ship was launched in January 2009, completed in January 2010, and entered service in March 2010.
She can accomodate 3,223 passengers looked after by over 1,000 crew.

The leisure facilities include an open-air pool complex, 4 whirlpools, a solarium and a sky lit indoor pool with retractable roof. For something more energetic there is tennis, mini-golf, a high-tech gym and a jogging track as well as 10-pin bowling and billiards. 
The entertainment continues into the evening with a spectacular casino, panoramic disco, 4D cinema, internet café, cigar lounge, plush 1,200 seat theatre and live entertainment in the many bars on board.
Closely following her out of Southampton tonight was the Aida Perla (see extra image), which has a spectacular colour scheme.
