It's all in the detail

It was quite a busy day.

Our festival committee met this morning followed by the Company meeting of the same. Most things are in place for the Autumn Festival and the loose ends are all attached to committee members who have to tighten them up!

We finished quite early.

I had routine blood tests then Mum and I went to Aldi for a food shop. It was very hot outside, so we retreated home with the food for a cuppa before going to see Bob and Pat (down the village). Bob has been poorly recently.

Arth and Aggie have both been stiff and sore today after their long walk yesterday but I'm hoping they will have recovered before tomorrow.

In the garden this evening, I was amazed to see such detail in the petals of this white astrantia. The tips are really pretty.
