Mono Monday

Just imagine the power behind those horns! That's what I did as I turned my back on this beast and continued on my way, hoping that he wasn't planning to follow!

I had approached along the path from the other side of the gate and didn't even see the coo until I was within a few yards, because he/she was standing in the shade, sheltering from the sun.

I must admit I got a fright and felt quite nervous, briefly considered turning back, but I remembered hearing that Highland cattle are a docile breed and carried on with my walk from Strathblane to Glengoyne, hoping for the best.

Made it safely home without being attacked by a wild beast, but fair puggled from the heat! Phew!
