The baguette
Another hot sunny day.
We drove over the Col de Suzette from Malaucene to Beaumes de Venise to buy some sweet white wine from the village which is famous for Muscat de Beaumes de Venise.
A wine we like to drink with Christmas Pudding.
Wonderful views of the Dentelles jagged peaked.
It was almost twelve o clock. Time for lunch, which we had in a small cafe up a little street.
First I went to take some photos of the village.
Especially one of my favourite artisan Boulangeries.
This little boy went in with his dad to buy a baguette for lunch, and I loved the way he carried it under his arm.
Wasn’t sure which shot was best and so the other close up is an extra, along with a photo of the shop.
A couple of wine tastings on the way back and a few more bottles purchased.
A swim in the pool to cool down, and now relaxing with an Ella CD playing in the background.
Bliss!
