30 degrees as I left work today - car was like an oven!

Even more significant - Andy here from Black Isle Woodturning was on ‘Junk Rescue’ on CBeebies.
Now I’ve known Andy since he was a wee lad (he’s the brother of my best friend) He has always been incredibly talented in the arts. He painted a picture of a kingfisher when he was 9 that I still have framed. When R moved up to the Highlands 16 years or so ago he wasn’t far behind. He and his wife bought an old school on the Black Isle and have been converting it ever since. It is part house and park workshop where Andy runs workshops on woodturning. He produces some amazing products which are beautiful. He does all this as well as working a ‘day job’ as a DT technician in a local secondary school AND bringing up 2 gorgeous children.
Today he hit the dizzy heights of national TV:-)
All this from a lad who struggled at school due to dyslexia. What he always, ALWAYS had was the love and support of a family and extended family (I’m just one of many who have been engulfed within this amazing family)
