Early morning poppies

Taken just as the low early morning light crept in from the side.  I think they are already losing some petals.  This flower bed has been a bit more of a hodge dodge this summer and I might have to think about a revamp.  Though these poppies looked stunning this morning.  

One or two more things cleared from the conservatory (progress unfortunately still very slow).  We managed to get to the bread shop this morning before it closed.  Also to deliver a few things for the Hospice warehouse and buy some compost in KDA (almost next door to one another) before buying a few essentials in the Coop.  We were going to have lunch out but by the time we got the shopping we decided to go home.  It is very hot today with a beautiful clear blue sky.  We’ve stayed in this afternoon.
