Playground Park Party

The thing about life in the city is how many things go on around town that you know nothing about.
We decided to walk across the St. Johns Bridge on our walk this evening. Partly for the summery experience and partly because I knew it would make me feel nearer to my sister who became emergency-room-seriously dehydrated from this latest round of chemo. It gives her diarrhea and water makes her vomit. This promising cancer treatment is one where they slowly increase the dosage as it's pretty strong. Let's see, how many ways are there to torture in the name of healing? They didn't want company, so what else is there to do but hope and pray from the top of the bridge?
While up there (on the pedestrian path, not the very tip-top of the bridge), we discovered a party going on beneath the bridge, in Cathedral Park.
It was the 12th Playground Park Party with music and activities for the whole family. Very fun to gaze down on with hoola-hoops, acrobatics, dogs and people having a good time.
I hope you had a good time today yourself. Why not enjoy it, it sure goes by whether you do or don't.
