Fruit thief...

Stood outside the greengrocers this morning when this Starling swooped on the tray of cherries and flung one to the floor.  It pounced on it and speared it with its beak, then proceeded to smash it on the pavement.  As bits broke off it picked them up and swallowed them.

The extra pic shows the juice flying off as he took a lunge at it!
