Towers Treat

I've been promising (threatening) SakalaSafari a trip to Alton Towers pretty much since she stepped off the plane. Today was probably the only time I could have taken a mid-week day off in term time so armed with some money-off vouchers we headed to AT for a very late Birthday treat for SS.

I'm not sure how SS was feeling about the whole thing but I was beyond excited. I've got such good memories of visits here over the years; with family, church youth group outings, with my brother and university friends. I don't think I've been for about 10 years but it pretty much lived up to all my memories.

Nemesis is my ultimate favourite ride (and we snuck in for a second go just before the park closed) but this time I really enjoyed Galactica, Thi3teen and Rita. Such a great day out with plenty of screaming and giggling. 

I want to go again now.
