Reflections
The thumbnail shows the now disused natural swimming pool in Newquay where I learnt to swim 56 years ago. We had to come 2 years in a row as I didn’t succeed with my rubber ring the first year with my Dad shouting instructions.
We are back in Newquay to start the next stage of the South West Coastal path and will be walking to St Ives in the next few days. We have packed fairly light and even left the rainmacs behind. We had a lovely meal by the harbour last night which was one of the few football free venues we could find. Apparently none of the staff there liked watching football.see view at low tide in extras.
