Pipes and drums.....

A bit of a change today. A quick run round the cattle then off into the big smoke for a morning spent watching Littlemiss take part in her first pipe band competition with the school .
It took part in Princes Street gardens at the Ross band stand. It was an ideal setting with the sun shining and the Castle as a backdrop. It certainly seemed to draw the tourists too.
Back home by early afternoon then hitched up the mower and went and cut a 20 acre field of grass . The forecast is good for this week so will try and make it into hay . Always have the option of wrapping it in plastic for silage/ haylage if plan A turns pear shape .
