Day 3.
An absolutely gin clear sky meant the loch was a beautiful blue as we walked around part of it to get to the walk we had planned to do in Loch Rannoch Forest.
The walk itself was through part of the forest inhabited by red squirrels, unfortunately we didn't see any. We walked along the steep sided valley of the Carrie Burn and could hear the water running, there were only natural sounds which was a treat.
Having completed this walk we had the small task of walking back to the lodge and did, slightly, regret the decision of walking to the start of a walk!
We are now sitting looking out at the red topped mountain opposite, see extra.
