Sunset at the Acropolis
Today we explored more of Athens, saw the changing of the guard and enjoyed more good food. The guards were dressed in traditional costume and stood to attention like statues despite the hot sun and hordes of tourists.
In the afternoon we visited the museum but it was a bit embarrassing to be British. We really should return the Elgin marbles...
Finally in the evening a large storm skirted Athens and we headed up to the top of Philopappos Park to see if there was going to be a good sunset lighting the Acropolis. We had the views to ourselves and the storm created some great colours to the sky
