Quiet Day

My husband and I are spending a quiet day at home, in preparation for a couple of busy weeks ahead.  Granddog Leo is feeling under the weather, so I'm not taking him for a long walk today.  Apparently, he got into some type of plant irritant on our stroll yesterday, because his tummy is red and he's scratching incessantly.  I have learned that dogs can take antihistamines, thank goodness.  So, I've been entertaining myself with the activity of the juvenile birds around the feeder.  This little Northern Cardinal is one example.
