Rare Launch
I gather that it's pretty difficult to get the right conditions to launch one of these. The wind has to be low (max 8kts) and the conditions stable (no thermal activity). This launch was intended for Knebworth, but it was moved north to my local airfield (Little Gransden), presumably because of the wind at Knebworth.
Once they had got the canopy laid out, it didn't take long to inflate it and raise it to the takeoff position. The airfield owner agreed to my flying my Spark to capture the shot from the air, but the extra photo is of the prone canopy, still being inflated.
