Big Baby

The baby tits are now pretty much adult sized, but they're still fluffy (or is that downy?) and their movements are a lot less co-ordinated than the grown ups'. This one was sitting on the back of the bench outside the kitchen window.

(Had an upsetting moment yesterday evening. I was in the kitchen and heard a bird give a sudden shriek, and looked out the window just in time to catch a glimpse of a bird of prey (kestrel?) flying off with one in its talons :( Not sure whether that was an adult or a youngster.)
