Oh Glorious Day!
Quite a full on day yesterday. The concert was great. We got a standing ovation! (One and a half hours standing is remarkable hard on your legs)
We had a couple of drinks with friends and other members of the group in Bingley before going for a curry. Didn't get home till after midnight. So a steady day today which included church this morning (we were doing coffee).
Walking up to the village I pass this garden, it's been blipped before by me and others. A couple of months ago it was wonderful tulips, which underplant these roses. Now, as you can see, the roses are stunning. The white one is called 'Champagne Moment' which we bought and planted to celebrate Eda's birth last autumn. It currently has only one bud but give it time.
The front of the house is equally lovely with some standard roses lining the path. If you ask him what he does to get them this way he says nothing!
Glorious weather. The cat doesn't know what to with herself, she's hiding under bushes. Just done a bit of tidying in the garden as the Dog Daisies are swamping one of my Grace roses in the back. Not enough energy for much else. Enjoy your sun if your in the UK.
