1338. Hello Stockholm!

A long and interesting journey from Kalvehave via Copenhagen to Stockholm yesterday....

We arrived at Copenhagen airport and dropped off our hire car and having decided to try and get an earlier train to Stockholm rather than sit around for several hours we bought fresh train tickets only to discover that the train we had booked was cancelled....a bit confused as to why we were were able to buy tickets for a train they already knew was cancelled! Unfortunately there was no one to ask for help at the station, no timetables and no announcements! After asking a fellow passenger for a bit of assistance they very helpfully told us to catch the train to Malmo as the train was going to start there instead...

It was a great journey through the beautiful Swedish countryside and we made our way to our hotel after what seemed like a very long day...

This was the sunset through our hotel room window last night...we haven’t been to Stockholm for many years and we can’t wait to start exploring tomorrow!
