We made it!

A beautiful morning, left home around 7.30am, and arrived about 5pm this afternoon, stopping at various points on route, including tea and toasted tea cake in Kirkby Stephen. 

 But the sun had deserted us for a grey sky, although the temperature, as we crossed over the border from Cumbria into Yorkshire was 18'C. The view is looking back towards Cumbria. The scenery is stunning. Our cottage is great and comfortable. Dinner has been had and washing up done, so going to relax the rest of this evening:-)
