New Trick

This is rather special for us, as it's only the second time in the 2 1/2 years we've had Simba that he's been brave enough to jump up on the settee. He's always been a bit of a scaredy-cat, in spite of being a large male and it was his much smaller sister Mika (who's still missing) who was happy to jump up and be petted. Simba preferred to sit at your feet, just in case he needed to make a quick getaway.

Out of the blue, he has learned how to pull the cushion flat and arrange himself on it, but will still jump down if you try to sit beside him. I'm sure it won't be long before he is confident enough to let us join him!
