Stuck In The Study

It felt very strange to spend a large part of the day back here in the study working in preparation for my new part-time job: reading and creating documents and contacting schools to arrange visits are the sorts of thing I used to do regularly before I retired over 18 months ago and it didn't take as long as I expected to get back into the swing of it. It also gave me a chance to re-acquaint myself with this Rogues' Gallery of family portraits and holiday pictures which have also been stuck in the study. As I had to stay in waiting for replies to my calls, this was about the only photo opportunity I got and summed up the day pretty well.

Just noticed from my One Year Ago thumbnail that I was blipping a much more stunning piece of architectural decoration!
