Attitude makes midsummer fest!

Exceptionally cool day, +12c and far less in the evening with stormy wind blasting and whipping us with rain.

We did come to grandparents' at noon, I made meals with grandmum and helped with the dishes... It has always been important to my husband to spend midsummer in the country and this is maybe the last midsummer time in this house, as grandparens have now decided to sell this house and move into smaller home with no garden. Easier to manage.

Normal weather for finnish midsummer eve. I forgot my beanie, when we did make a short drive to see a bonfire (to scare away the bad ghosts of light summer night)... This one was in Kangasala, Pohtiolampi. Freezing cold almost, nevertheless some barefoot guys did wear only shorts and T-shirt - and inner wooljacket (= heavily warming amount of alcohol) A lot of families around, children playing and eating junk food.

The finnish midsummer is an attitude?
