Kendal

We already knew that there were roadworks on the M6 so we had a work around those but as we set off the satnav lady decided that there was a problem and took us a completely different route to Birmingham.

As we were travelling on Friday we have on occasions crawled through the traffic but we made to Kendal while the sun was still shining.

We’ve been for a walk up to the castle and fed the swans and ducks on the way back to the hotel.

After a really lovely meal we’ve been for another walk around the town. Lots of memories of being here with the children and David.

Kendal is really lovely and we will return.
