Coming home to roost

I watched hundreds of parakeets coming to roost on the island outside the parliament building, so much noise and fluttering! They almost look like bats at dusk they are so fast. I wished I had my big camera lens today, but I was travelling light so it’s my phone for the next two weeks.
I took a photo of the park on the way home instead of the birds.
