Nest Building

We caught a ferry to Yell and then another ferry to Unst so we could visit the Puffins at Hermaness Nature Reserve.

The weather was less than ideal for photography as it was raining hard and blowing a gale....made it very difficult to hold the camera still and keep the lens clean.

However, the Puffins didn’t disappoint and I got a number of shots with them bringing nesting materials to their burrows. I even got one with sand eels (see extras).
