Today's purchases!

I hate going into town so try to keep my visits to a minimum but today I had a bit of church volunteering to do so I made the most of my jaunt.

Most importantly I had to collect my camera with its spanking new lens barrel .... it's working better than ever now! Then I walked up to the newly refurbished Jessops shop and bought a slightly padded bag to keep the camera in while I'm holiday.

Next stop was Waterstones to spend a book token which was beginning to burn a hole in my purse .... I'm waiting for a number of paperbacks to be published but I was able to buy Robert Harris's latest.

Finally a visit to an outdoor shop to buy some liquid for my Gortex boots which are not as waterproof as they were when I bought them about 7 years ago. If the treatment lasts till the autumn I will be pleased and can then think about replacing them.

Very tired when I got home just after lunch ..... hate to admit that I fell asleep on the sofa!
