on the beach

did something very unusual for me today - sat on the beach!  I often walk along the beach, occasionally paddle in the sea but rarely sit still. It was another hot day, but there was a pleasant breeze by the coast, so managed to get through some of my book and even get a bit further into the sea than usual. We have a little compact waterproof camera so took this out with me today . I did take it into the sea but couldn't get anything I liked so instead took some photos on the beach. I was drawn to the fence shadows that looked rather zebra-like and the single red brolley at the end.
